3M stoneguard and window tinting

Well I got the Pinnacle tint package this last Sat. Windows, sunroof, and a 6" strip on the front. Ended up using a 15% tint on the front since they recommended that over the 35% I got on everything else. So the 6" strip is not Pinnacle but Llumar, another ceramic film they sell.

It took all frikkin' day though to install! Got there just befor 10AM when they opened and drove home at 5:35! But they did do a good job, and told me up front that ceramic film takes much longer to install owing to it's thickness.

Got the car back, shop did nice work, and cut $50 off the bill because they were late getting it done. They recommend Mac's Auto Reconditioning, Micaiah Mausten, owner, for the 3M film. It is listed as "Phantom Clear Bra" on his business card. I have not yet called him, gotta save a bit more, I didn't turn the dent into the insurance, too many claims this year.
