In short it makes it much more responsive, quicker, shift better and allows you to fine tune many aspects of the engine. I personally just use a tune that comes pre-loaded: the CAI 93 Octane Tune. It definitely adds more torque and horsepower. If the unit is reset and not married to a vehicle, this is a deal at 140.
