Thanks, salesman seems optimistic, called DC today and they say it "shipped " on 6/3 and should get to the dealer 10-14 days . But the DC dealer log in web page shows movement back to the plant from the carrier, maybe I should stop looking

got my 300c on 5/22/04, its that jade pearl color (lite green) with lots of options, paid list at $38,660. and would do it again. got about 600 miles on it. changed to castrol syntec oil at 310 miles. you right, k&n says no proper filter available at this date (6/13/04. the car is awesome!

Well,
My filter came in today, and it fits perfect. Exact same fit as the stock one...

Thanks Again for finding this out for us.

There's a tiny amount of play between the filter and the stock airbox. It is VERY slightly smaller than the stock filter, but it's definitely not a functional issue. When the airbox clamps down, it holds the filter in place anyway. For an air filter, it's a perfect fit.

I just installed the bentley K&N and the Hemi seems to like it it seems a bit louder like you can hear the engine better and it seems to up the HP a little. And as an update there is now a 300C K&N filter so dont order the bentley one anymore unless someone can prove it has mor hp than the 300 C one It seems to be a different color and the 300C one is like $10 cheaper.

It would be interesting to do a dyno run with each filter, and actually see which filter performs better. Then again, the performance boost, or difference might be so small it doesn't matter. I personally think the look of the Bentley filter is a little more heavy duty looking, but I haven't seen the new 300C filter in person yet either.
