Take a look at this site which pretty well confirms that there is no performance benefits of aftermarket filters like the sellers claim.

I can not feel a difference, I agree, though I like the idea of cleaner air which these filters probably do but there is no proof of this either. Kind of like my oil pan and filter magnets. The oil change comes tomorrow and we will see, I will post pix of my findings for proof one way or the other.
