HID lighting (low beams and fog lights)

I'm going to attempt to get an aftermarket HID kit to work next week. This will be for the low beams. One of the posts on the forum mentioned that the person was going to be ordering a kit for the foglights. They use H10 bulbs but I haven't been able to find an HID kit that uses those bulbs. Does anyone have a lead for this?

Thanks,
Tom

I'll have a shipment of low beams here in a few days so I'll see how that goes. Still looking for the H10s though.

A capacitor needs to be installed on the two wires on your harness coming
from the connection to the factory headlight connector. These should be as close to the relay as possible. So now, when the DRLs or Perimeter lights are activated
the 0Volt / 13Volt Pulse is modulated out in the capacitor, 13 Volts is sent
to the relay, and the HIDs come on like they are supposed to. It looks like
manufacturers are going to this Pulse Width Modulated type of voltage
control to handle everything from the blower motor controls to DRLs..
Will the kits you will be offering have the added capacitor and wiring?

If so I think you will get quite a bit of business from many of us, including myself

I'll see if there are any "headaches" involved with the install and try to take care of them if there is. Everything should then be available to give everyone else a much easier install.
