Exclamation Need Gas Tank - 300C

Punctured right side of the gas tank on my '05 300C last week.

Just lucky - front wheel kicked up a "U" shaped piece of metal which "jammed" itself up against bottom of car - piercing the tank, but not exploding the car.

Arrow On Back Order - 2wks

Apparently parts are so short - itz gonna take two weeks for the dealership to get a new gas tank.
Can't wait that long - Hemi-itis is already manifesting itself in my brain....cannot drive Expedition another day ----HEP!!!

there is a tsb about replacing gas tanks soon. good luck they will be in short supply. junk yard?

Wow redman, lucky these things are composite, an elderly couple was killed on the freeway several years ago in Virginia after a chunk of metal hit thier gas tank and blew the car up
