Do you have a high end sterero install - I want your spare tire.

For those of you that have removed your space saver wheel, jack, lug wrench, bolt, w/ cup and nut to make room for your amps and subs, I want your goods.
I will buy your full spare tire set up from you.
Please drop me a line: revemt@juno.com
I would be happy to pick up if you are local to NYC (I'm in Westchester.)

I hope you are not trying to put it in your SRT8. As far as I have heard from other SRT owners, it will not fit in your trunk where the spare goes.

Fits in my trunk?

The problem lies with the front Brembos and them being so large
I have done a test fit with the space saver spare, fits fine on the rear and forget about it on the front. I could not even use a spacer for the fronts, not enough wheel stud to grab. If you think about the space saver tire well, they are the same for all the LX cars, the chassis are all the same, only the bolt on goodies change.
So YES, this is what I am going to do. I could just store one of my winter wheels in the rear, but that is not a great fix for this. If I get a flat on the front, I have to install the space saver on the rear and move the rear wheel to the front. I wouldn't care, but I drive where there are no houses and no cell signal often.

The OEM spare fits just fine in the well, but is a bit too short for the SRTs, and may cause the ESP to have a fit is installed on the rear (speed differential may appear to be wheelspin). Other problem is OEM spare won't fit over brakes (front for sure, rear though...?)

Solution? Look into wheel spacers--I know the studs aren't long enough. BUT, most larger spacers (.75"+) are offset and have studs in them (bolt the spacer on, the bolt wheel to spacer.

Worth a shot--just google wheel spacer, and figure out the dimensions required (bolt circle, thickness, and wheel hub ID (for hub centric purposes)
