Sub_zero: engagement ring OR Z1?!?! Seriously, there is no contest with this one. Z1 hands down, no questions asked. The gf will understand Just tell her you got it for her and that you loved her so much that you rushed out and bought the BEST of the BEST navigation unit because only the best of the best girlfriends deserve the best of the best navigation.

At least when she dumps you, you'll still have the Z1. hehe

Hey Notyet - I never installed the camera on the back. I just put it on the rear shelf by the third taillight inside with velcro. Never got to it..

Sub - LOL. I thought you would get a kick out of that! I was in a similar situation as you. A few years back I put a deposit down on a new Mini Cooper when they first came out. Then the gf gave me one of these ! I know this won't help my case now but i never did get the Mini...They always win ...must be strong Sub... jk

I may be interested in the unit, camera, blue tooth and Ipod adapter alone for another car. I can get a new unit from Circuit City for $2049 or a refurb online for $1699.
