its going to go on this stainless steel grille:

Getting the original wing off would be the best looking one available. It all started with a member ,Ostress, who no longer does that mod for us. A few others members have been successful trying that mod as well.

I know of 3 supporting vendors who sell the smaller replacement wing that you most often see on aftermarket grilles. Their prices vary quite a bit for that same wing...

ok, i saw some of O stress's work. ehre are my thoughts:

1) it smart, its innovative, def a good idea.
2) the wing is big compared to the "aftermarket" ones that are a tad shorter and thinner
3) i have a S.S. grille. Putting the ABS chrome plated emblem from the factroy looks a bit weird.
4) Where can I get the aftermarket emblems? Bruno mentioned some of our vendors have them

thanks

Hey wanna,
There might be some other supporting vendors here that have the OEM (smaller) wing. Here are 3 that I do know about:

**Wyckhoff--$39.76
**Automotive Concepts--$59.00
**402 Motoring--$64.95

As I mentioned, there is quite a difference in prices.

I belive Billit Tech is making one look them up.

I hear what your saying about the ABS Chrome might not look like its matches. I did my own on in Chrome and 1 I painted body color. The Body color wins hands down.
Good Luck.
