FNG with purchase questions

New guy here looking to get into a 300C. I adored these things from the start and now I need to step out of my F150 . For years this was the only vehicle for me but the only other car I can see myself driving is a 300C
.

What's everyone paying for a new base 300C? Are they selling for sticker or can I expect to negotiate? Ignoring the great lease vs. buy debate, what's a fair payment (lease or buy)?

Thanks for your help guys. I expect to learn a lot here.

I would look around at your local dealers, and try to find an '05. The '05 comes with a 7/70 warranty, and the '06 comes with 3/36. Since the '06 will be arriving soon they should be willing to come down on the '05's. Since your looking for a base 300, I would assume they would come down a little maybe like 1-2k then with financing through Chrysler you get and additional $1000. Dont let the dealer tell you, since you are getting a $1000 through Chrysler, we can not come down on the price. Just take your time, you will find one worth dealing with.

Can we clarify this? Are you looking for a base (as in no options) 300 C or are you looking for a base 300 (V6)?

Check your regional forum for dealer recommendations, and don't assume your best financing is in house. Costco has a great program, and credit unions are also very aggressive in getting you a good deal. As far as payments go, I did mine for 36 months, so am paying over $1000 monthly.

When I financed mine in July, there was no time limit before you could pay off the loan. The Dealer Finance Guy wants you to wait 3 monnths so he gets his $100 kick back from Chrysler Finance.

C-Man is right there is no time limit, they tell you that so they get comped for there services. Which they already are by over charging you on your interest rate. So say your apporved for 3.9% they might charge you 4.6% or even higher. So that extra 1% maybe even 4 or 5% they are making off of you. This happens all to often and the car makers should put a stop to this. It is wrong for them to lie to you about it, thats why is possible go with an outside credit source. Sorry I will end my rant now....

The only stupid questions are those which aren't asked...an old Dutch proverb.
