WTB: Gloss Black Pillars

I 'm wondering if anyone can help me find gloss black pillars for my 08' 300. I removed the chrome pillars that i had and needless to say I messed up the original pillars while taking off the chrome. If anyone can help with price + shipping I would like to buy ASAP

Why not paint them? That's what I plan to do. There is a good write up on here somewhere.

Happened to me too so I bought the SS ones and prepped and painted them flat black.

Looks awesome and you can't tell the difference at all!

I got a set on Ebay for like $24 shipped.

Much easier and less expensive to get the SS ones and paint them yourself. Just take your time and do it right (I bought multiple sets because I rushed the paint steps)

I had the CF ones from that seller and they didn't bend/fit properly and the edges weren't beveled so it really didn't look that good.

I bought mine from this seller vvvv and he was quick with shipping and the pillars are metal not ABS plastic like a lot of them are out there.

I don't think I have any pics but you can do some light sanding (2000 grit) to 'etch' them a bit and then I sprayed some adhesion promoter (let dry for 10 mins or so) and then I used some Industrial Strength flat black enamel paint from Home Depot. Light, steady spray motion about a foot away covering all the surfaces evenly. Wait 10-15 mins between coats ( I did 3 coats) Let dry/cure for a day or two in an area with no dust.

That's how I did mine.
