Talking Visor Plaques

If you've been sufficiently warned about your airbags (from the sticker on the visor) and can recite the warning message by heart, maybe it's time to cover it up with something a little more tasteful. PT Cruiser Warehouse offers a set of visor plaques designed to just cover the warning sticker. I measured and they'll work on the 300 as well.

http://www.ptwarehouse.com/accessori...rior/visor.htm

A lot of 300M owners (including me) ordered these for our 300Ms. I just ordered a set for my 300C. The quality is good and they add a small touch of Chrysler class for just $16.00, shipping included. They offer black logo on silver or gold logo on black.

I have no affiliation with PT Warehouse.

I had to go look at my car to see if I even had them, and yep there they were. I never notice them so no buyer here.

Hey magnesium300c (et al), is there any legal requirement for these notices to be visible? Might be worth a thought

Here in the United States, FEDERAL LAW states you can not remove those or cover them. How do I know this? A car show on ESPN was making jokes about how bad it's gotten with all the warning labels, and said that the car makers are doing this to remove legal liability incase something bad happens and it is protected by federal law. So if you live in the U.S., you've been warned. I doubt anyone will enforce it on you though.

I dont really give a f--k if its legal or not....its MY car that I paid for and Ill do what I want with it. Ill be ordering those plaques this week. Those things on the visors are really ugly, and annoying, and Im glad something came out to cover them up.

Hey Magnesium300c....do they cover the warning labels up exactly? I want to get them as long as they fit the size perfectly.

FAME2002, go for it, I say.

The only problems you would be likely to be exposed to are if you loaned you 300C to someone and they did something stupid (contrary to the warning label), had a problem and tried to sue you (litigation) for inadequate warning.

Over here you have to get a Roadworthy Certificate if you are disposing for the car. they would not issue that if the label was covered.

I think the federal law only applies to manufacturers and sellers. Once you own the car you can do what you want with the tags, just like tearing the tags off of pillows. I doubt you will see the pillow police or the sun visor police on your doorstep. IMHO.

Should be able to do so, but do it slowly so as not to tear the fabrid. I used a hair dryer to soften the adhesive when DC sent out new ones for the LH series a few years ago. Came off easily that way.
