I was getting new tires today and got a chance to get a better look at the parking brake line that was causing the creaking. Here is a pic of the parking brake line which was rubbing on the driver side rear cross member. Every time my car accelerated from a stop the cross member would move causing the brake line to make the creaking noise. The brake line is real stiff and solid and is pushing/pressing real hard on the cross member.

I don't know why my car developed this annoying problem about a year or more ago. I have never seen anyone else with this type of noise coming from the left rear wheel.

I was once rear ended and I had to have my left rear resonator and exhaust pipe replaced. Maybe the repair shop rerouted my parking brake line or didn't reinstall it correctly.
