Predator gives you some options. But this whole tuning concept is far overblown. We're talking quicker throttler response and some ancillary options, nothing beyond that. Lean out the timing, tweak the engine specs, thats all fine for the "butt dyno," which I first heard about on a predator thread. In terms of raw knock-down power, save your money. Software will never replace hardware. This said, my comments are based on hardware being a financial options, let's say it's not....in that case save your money...you can have my d-sport window sticker... My supercharger came with a tune preloaded, so you can have my mine unmarried unit PM me

Ok...I got a problem......

I got my Diablosport Intune. I chatted with tech this morning because when I hook it up to the OBD II it does nothing. It wont even light up.
He suggested I check the fuse. He said its the same fuse that is controls the cig lighter.
Where is that fuse located? I checked the manual and my service repair manual and I am having no luck.....partly because frustration is getting the best of me.

Nevermind about the fuse...I used the "magical search button" and found my answer..

BUT..........

I still have a problem. I am completely new to this Tuner and tuning in general.

I cannot get the Diablosport Intune to work on my car. I can hook it to my computer and it powers up but when I hook it to my car it does nothing. I have been on the phone and chatting with Diablopsport with no luck. They are now asking me to send it back to them for diagnosis and repair.
Has anyone heard of such a thing with these? Before making my decision to buy one I spent several hours researching them and don't recall this type of problem.

My next step is to see if it could possibly be just a bad OBDII cable by hooking it to another car. If it doesn't work then I will rest a little easier...if it does....then I will be much more concerned.

Any thoughts? Suggestions? Input?

I'm not sure...I have the same car/year but bought the DiabloSport Predator...not the InTune. I guess I assumed (maybe wrongly) that the InTune only worked with the newer models of 300c....

Hmmmmmmmmmm... Never heard of this.

I have a Trinity which is mounted on my A-Pillar and every once in awhile when I am monitoring gauges it loses the data connection to the car. It remains powered up, but gives me an error. Sometimes I just back out to the main screen and then go back into monitoring and everything works, and sometimes I have to pull the OBD cord on the Trinity and plug it back in.

I know this is different than an intune, but it's the only thing I've ever experienced with issues related to the OBD connection. But again - I still get full power when it errors - I've never heard of it getting no power at all.

I think you are going the correct route though. If it works on the computer than the device apparently is ok. Maybe it is the OBD cord afterall. Next step would be to try another car as you said. I think I may have an extra OBD cord for my Trinity - not sure if it's the same connection for the intune or not.

Ok.. I should have my replacement Diablosport Intune today but I have a question..
I have a Jet 180 thermostat to put on but I am holding off doing so until I replace my radiator.. (very very small leak).
It's still ok to use the Intune without the thermostat mod done correct? I know I read that you can control the fan settings.. But maybe that was with the Trinity.. Not sure exactly.
I am holding off replacing the radiator until after the holidays.
I guess my question is not so much if it's ok to use... More of if it is worth doing?
I only ask because using a jet180 seems to be a highly recommended mod across the forum.

It's okay to use the intune without a 180 tstat. Just don't adjust the fan settings at all.

A 180 tstat just opens up at a lower temp = 180 degrees instead of the stock temp... can't remember - is it 210 or something??? Anyways, your car's high and low speed fans are set to kick on around the stock temperature settings for the stock tstat.

So once you install the 180 tstat, you then have the "ability" to run the engine at a cooler temperature since the tstat opens at a lower temp... but it doesn't make much of a difference without a fan. So that's why AFTER you install the 180 tstat, you can then use your InTune to lower the temps at which your fans kick on and take full advantage of the lower temp tstat.

Make sense??

And I'm sure you'll ask... everybody does...

When it's time to lower the fan settings, the InTune will have multiple settings: Low Speed, Medium Speed, High Speed - and it has each of these twice... one with A/C on and one with A/C off.

First, we don't have a Medium Speed fan, so I just set that one the same as the High Speed. Personally, I set all Low Speed fans to kick on at 185 degrees, and all Medium and High Speed fans at 195 degrees. Some people set them differently - I've found this is a good setting for me.
