For now, I suggest ya install one of the tunes available on the unit and go with that. Modifying the tune can be done after a bit of reading on how to do that. For instance, if you install the T-Stat, then you'll want to change the fan settings. Same thing goes for changing tire and wheel sizes if you ever go that route.

Custom tunes are not done by you. That comes on a dyno with a trainer tuner.

Just put on the tune and go enjoy yourself for a bit. Remember, if you select a particular tune that requires 91 octane fuel and all you have in the car now is 89, don't run it too hard until you can fill up with 91 or better octane.

The tune for the tstat install is not a separate tune. We just need to get into the installed tune and change the fan settings.

You have to put a tune on the car first in order to be able to modify the tune so go ahead...install the 91 tune now, fill it up with 91 and go for it.

You can play now if ya want. Just don't really hammer it until ya get a full tank of 91.

The CAI and fan setting stuff can be done later.

That's a bit too low. Even with a 180 degree tstat the fans will run all the time and wear out pretty fast.

I have my LS fans set for 191 and my HS fans set for 199; all conditions. Those settings assume you have the 180 degree thermostat installed. Don't change the fan settings if you haven installed the thermostat.
