300cHEMI, check out this thread in the visual mods forum (tint is not really a performance mod, though I think it makes the car LOOK faster)

20% tint thread

Bently grille, oil filter magnet and transmission pan magnet, cold air intake or K&N filter (not available yet), weather tech advantage floor mats, mirror turn signals (supposedly a dealer option in three months).

Hey,
newbie here and ordered my 300 a few weeks ago and was wondering what the funky offset and bolt pattern was? I was thinking that being rear wheel drive, it would be a no brainer but from what I have been reading, it seems like it is going to be a chore. I have seen one with 22" on it and he did not say anything about it being funky or hard. BTW, I'm looking to put 20's on and the tint will be done before I pick it up.

I went to K&N’s site and filled out the “Request a K&N Product for Your Vehicle” form. It might help if more of us fill it out and show them we are interested…..

I will do that right now! Also, I talked to Eibach springs on the phone and they are in the process of making something for our vehicles. They said they have a 300C on 22's in their warehouse and they are currently fabricating the springs for it.

The bolt pattern is what Cadillac/GM uses - 5x115. The 300C OEM wheel is 18x7.5 et24. Wheel selection will be slow because wheel makers will have to retool and make new cast for this car. Most other 5x115 wheels use high offset like et40. 5x114.3 will also fit.

For a panel filter replacement, try K&N #33-2543. Fits like a glove. Available online here: http://www.4filters.com/knfilters.htm. Coincidentally, the only other car that it fits is a Bentley.

I'm posting this as a general thread so folks will see it.

Tires will be first for me, depending on what's available.

Next will be intake/exhaust.

I'll have to think about gears. I want to see how these trannies hold up.
