Real World Gas Mileage

I have the AWD C and right now my computer tells me that I have been getting an average of 21.2 MPG. I am wondering what types of gas mileage everyone has been getting. Also, I have a completely stock setup right now, please let me know what upgrades you have as far as intake, exhaust, etc.

After exsaust +1-1.5mph, then intake maybe 1 or 2 more, that lasted about a day and now I can't keep my foot of the gas it sounds so sweet. 15mph stop and go low 20's on the open road.

Mileage

I have an '06 300C SRT-8, all stock (except for the Magnaflow CatBacks) and I drive it like it was meant to be driven. Shift at redline (always), downshift manually (always). AZ has nice freeways and my combined city/highway is consistently 15.9 mpg. I think that is great MPG, all things considered.

DanRealtor, did you notice any improvement when the cat-back was installed?

We've have our stock '05 300C for 2.5 months (second owners), and in-town mileage has ranged from 14-17 mpg, and highway driving has ranged from 23-25 mpg. This is better mileage than our 3.5L V6 in the '94 Town & Country AWD... and nowadays I keep thinking, "What's wrong with this van... is it bogged down in mud, or our my tires deflated. Why doesn't this thing move like it used to?" Of course the 300C has moved the bar up who knows how many notches!

You guys with the C/AWD that are averaging 20+ MPG are getting insane mileage. I get 25-27.5 freeway cruise set on 70. My average (random evic check) which is 70/30 city/hwy is about 14.5. Please tell me you do lots of freeway driving.

II kings,
Yeah, I am more like 30/70 city/hwy...but I am also a very easy driver. I used to own an H2 and I was able to get a combined city/hwy of around 14 MPG (I found that this was about 3 or 4 better than others who drove the same city/hwy ratio). The key is just try not to accelerate and brake hard and quickly...just relax

Yes, I spend way less time at WOT since gas is so high, but with my mix of driving it seems to to make little difference WOT or not. When sitting at a light all cars get 0 MPG.
