Esp

With the car in Neutral or Park, with the driver's seat belt unbuckled, push and hold the ESP button for 10 seconds. If you have the 3 way ESP the EVIC will display "ESP System Deactivated". Now go roast your tires while drifting sideways/backwards!

Huh?

Does this work with the non srt-8 vehicles? I have an 05 300c 5.7 rwd and when i try what you guys are talking about after about 10 second of holding the esp buttion down ,while in park or neutral with my seatbelt on, The only thing that happens is that the esp light turns off on its own. No evid display.
Thanks for your help if any one knows.

You can actually do this at low speed (maybe 5-10 MPH) and your seatbelt can be on.

There has been alot of discussion as to how much this backs things off. I have felt the car taking control even with the ESP System Deactivated. A few times were while roasting the tires through first gear and then twice while hanging it out around a corner. The computer interuped the fun. My opinion is if you haven't felt this with the ESP off, your not driving hard enough. I'll be installing this mod tomorrow or Saturday and will report back.
