Question Borla 125 or 112?

I've just about talked myself into the tbyrne group buy for the Borla exhaust.

Since there is a lot of opinions and experience here, what are the pros and cons of the 140112 and the 140125? I understand that the 125 is more "aggresive" than the 112. What other observations / opinions / differences are there that may sway me one way or the other?

Thanks!

jimt

PS: I'm finding that the "Group Buys" make me say good "bye" to my money in "groups!"

I am also interested in the Borla. The only difference I have found is that the 112 has 3.5 tips w/ resonators attached and the 125 has 5" tips w/o resonators. Has anyone experienced any drone with either? If so I think I'll opt for the Corsa. What say all you Giants on whose shoulders I proudly perch.

i have the 125s but i won't sell anyone on them. i absolutely one hundred percent love my 125s. the styling is awesome for my charger and the sound is incredible. they are a very loud deep aggressive note. and will also allow for a nice little sound at idle.......but you sacrifice sound in the cabin. i experience what annoys many (the dreaded drone issue) at 2000rpms and then it is gone. i am so accustom to it though that i don't notice.....and it passed the wifey test. not to mention my kids think it is the baddest sounding car on the road. but without resonators you get drone but for one bad a$$ sounding exhaust note.

the 112s are a nice setup and my friend has it but isn't happy at all with the note. he says it isn't loud or aggressive enough. i think it is better than the standard exhaust but it is negligible on the loudness over the standard exhaust for the Cs or the hemi lxes.

i love 'em and everyone that hears my car loves 'em. but you will sacrifice noise in the cabin.

Thanks GoDaddy.

The only way my wife will agree to any exhaust mod is if there is no cabin intrusion. On the otherhand the only way I will do the new setup is if there is a noticable difference.. The light from your beacon of knowledge has shown me the answer.

I have the 112 and it was quiet at cruise and light throttle. However, the headers woke the 112 up where you can now hear it during cruise and hear the MDS switch on and off.

I have the 125 and love it. The drone is bad when under load at certain revs but u just have to find that happy medium. The 5" tips make the rear end look awsome and very tuff. I now know, along with evryone else on the outside of my car, that I am driving a V8!
