FlashPaq Failed WBDCL1

Not perfectly certain on the error code, it flashes on and off the screen very quickly. I tried tuning straight from the box (no update) and then after update with same results.

Set the options:

Performance 91 tune
Reduced Torque Management
Paddle Shift and hold or autokick (tried both)
Raised shift points and raised limiter
Set tire size to 28.5

Car surges when cruising at a constant speed.
Put trans in manual mode and does not automatically go to 1 when stopped
I have only 1,2,3,4,D........others have said they have 1,2,3,4,5,D. in manual mode.

Emailed Superchips so we will see, just wondering if anyone else has this situation?

Car build date 05/04
CCN V3.61

There has been a few. I heard maybe a fix mid next week.
Put your car back to stock, and wait till you hear back from them.

I have 1,2,3,4,5 and D, but only when upshifting. In other words, if I'm in drive and move the lever to the left it goes to "4" but then if I move it back to the right it shows "5" and one more click gets back to "D".

I have no surging or any issues, Feb '05 build, don't know what software version I have. Hang in there it will be worth it when they get all issues resolved. It totally fixed my transmission issues (delayed shifts in autostick were my biggest complaint.....that's gone!).

When it is in D, tap to the right, and it will go to 5, if you are at cruising speed. I think that it assumes if you tap right that you want to go to 4(if you are cruising in 5).

Hrm, I have a build date of November 04 and the same software version 3.61

I haven't used the flashpaq yet .. . is there some problem with this version of the software. I'm scared to use the thing now.

Does anyone else have this same software version that has flashed their LX successfully.

Installed 91 octane and performance transmission tune today and seem to have the same issues. At a steady cruise the trans seems to be hunting around. I also noticed its not smooth accelerating from idle for the first 10 feet or so. It feels like its stuttering. My first thought was the traction control was kicking in. Truthfully I suspect the flashpac may be making obvious what was not obvious before, like the water in the transmission problem. I'm going to drive with this tune a few more days to try and get a better grip on whats going on. My 300C is a may 04 build with the evic showing version 3.54.

I have version 4.05 and and only on occasion having a slight surge at idle.
Its not consistant enough to go back to stock and everything else is awesome! Though I went on a long drive and realized I'd been in 5 for an hour averaging 20 mpg shifted to D and got 26 mpg (never got that before).

I went to the theater tonight and its not the transmission after all. Its missing off idle and surging at light throttle no matter the speed. I have 93 in the tank but tomorrow I'll change to the 87 tune to see what happens. I haven't updated the flashpak because I'm a mac guy and will have to get to a friends house to download the updates. Still not worried but prefer to iron out the problem sooner than later.

I don't quite understand this because at highway speeds, D is 5.
