Great find! This is the second tuner source; SC is the first.

The link doesn't work for some reason but go to www.bgchrysler.com, click on Service, click on Performance PCM Upgrades near the bottom of the page.

This link seems to work:

http://www.bgchrysler.com/Service/Hi...b_g_flash.html

The B&G Hemi Passenger Car Flash is for the 5.7 .

The B&G 408 Flash is for the 6.1 .

The 408 Flash doesn't look very specific: true the 6.1 has a bigger cam, but it's bored not stroked vs. the 5.7 . It says it removed the speed limit, but there is no speed limit anyway afaik.

Edit: more and more interesting. They say they employ former and current Chrysler engineers. Maybe the people at B&G know something about the PCM programming.

They disable the MDS if you want to put in a bigger cam. That's interesting, someone was looking for a way to disable his MDS to build his 5.7.

I called this guy at (586) 758-2003 . He flashes your controller and mails it back to you. Claims better performance than SC for the 5.7, and that after flashing the engine can take a bigger cam. He also can flash the 6.1 controller. I suggested that he join the forum here, I hope he does.

Why? It's not a fancy website, but that means nothing! He is a small operation -- I called them up and the guy himself answered the phone. Maybe he just doesn't spend money on advertising and pretty secretaries. I wish I could find some referrals somewhere. Does anyone on any forum have experience with him?

B&G are the most famous Tuners for Dodge in any truck forum....Don't forget that they are a Chrysler Dealer with Chrysler engineers

Just a thought, and I of course would not condone this, but couldn't someone get their car programmed, then turn around and do a read with a SC to get the code? What concerns me more though is what happens any time you have to go to the dealer? Between them being able to see it and the chance of a flash being ruined/need to be sent back out to be done, I'll stick with the SC. I do agree that more people doing this work can only be a good thing though!!
