Kenne Bell Super Charger for Hemi

Has anyone heard anymore about Kenne Bells new kit fr the Hemi 300c. I've talked to them about two month's ago and they had the units made and on the shelves ready for shipment but are finnishing up on the programming. It's supposed to give just shy of 600 hp. at a cost of about $5500 not installed. That's just nasty! Also when you purchase the kit you can get a dealers license for purchasing one at full price and then you get 20% off all other orders. Anyone interested in these kits? http://www.kennebell.net/superchargers/dodge/hemi57/hemi57.htm

I'm interested on hearing some input from pros and cons about it or maybe another way to go.

I read 500HP no 600HP. Still pretty good numbers. In my opinion this is a better route to go than the centrifugal superchargers like Paxton or Procharger.

That sounds like something for me. $5.5K sounds great...how much to do an install like this though? Looks bolt on but where are the gotchas?

Well first all thats for the 03/04 Hemi Truck Engine.

Next I am all over one of these kits from KB or Whipple, but my only worry would be the upper piston ring lands.

My 2 year goal is one of these kits on a built up 426 Hemi, I am looking to ways to do this and kep it reliable. The way I am racking up miles on the car Ill be out of the 7/70 in 2 years

This would be a very good system to go with if they had it for the LX cars. Nothing available yet. I've talked to Magnuson to see if they will be producing something for these cars. That is one that I really hope comes out. That is another very good supercharger that provides plenty of low end power!

A twin screw unit ... verrrry interesting. Is there a way to cram it under the stock hood of a CSRT8?

IMO that twin screw could be problematic from what I can see, but since they said they are looking into the 300's they might have already measured and know it will fit.

A roots style blower should be no problem.

KB = Big Torque Hemi

That KB setup is Awesome and produces great Torque at a very nice lower RPM, yet the HP numbers are without question inflated,,, i would believe maybe 400RWHP with Torque Over 500 lbs. Yet there just isn't enough RPM with the 5.7 to gain alot of HP, yet drivability with the Torque improvements far out weigh the lack of RPM.... KB is a great alternative for a daily driver and fun. Yet depending, on the size of Unit, either the 2.2 or 2.4. CFM makes HP and if they have it figured out then the market is Beginning to see the Hemi advantage.

Awesome hope they make a great unit...

I know the website say's it's for the truck but when you call they say they're sitting on the shelves for shipment for the 300's as well.
