Jeez, there are hundreds ... no thousands of posts here. Pick some. CAI, mixed reviews at best. Chip for the "8". not yet. Exhaust... the "8" is good already, right?
I have a "C", love it and I'll get the SC tuner as soon as it is de-bugged.

You have to decide whether to mod the powertrain or the suspension.

Engine:
It appears that a chip / flash / tuner will be necessary, and the tuner isn't available yet for 6.1. There is a flash available for the 6.1 which looks promising to me but nobody has tried it yet: B&G computer flash

Changing your thermostat is easy and cheap so it doesn't count as your big mod.

Having gotten software one doesn't need the easy torque mod that people are using now.

Next I would like to get Kooks coated headers, but they are also the most expensive mod. If nothing else they'll lean out the mixture a bit which is currently too rich. However one must see how they work in combination with the software.

Then CAI and catbacks. They are easy installs. They net you a few horsepower but the main effect seems to be sound. Decide what sound and look you like and act accordingly.

GSM has a centrifugal supercharger. I am more interested way down the road (post-warranty) in possibly getting a twin-screw or Roots supercharger for torque boost but none are currently available. This mod will void some parts of your warranty, I'm sure.

Suspension:
People are replacing the stock antiroll bars with stiffer ones. Some people are also replacing the shocks, I guess to lower the car further (someone correct me if this isn't right). This mod costs only a few hundred dollars.
