Not better just different.

Just updated my tuner tonight. For me the latest update isn't really better just different.

Still won't shift when using Sport trans tune.
Tire size now seems to want to default to 28.50 when I set to 28.25.

After updating the tuner I connected it to my 300C.

First I ran the Diagnostics and read DTC's I've never had a code show up but tonight it listed B162B and something about it not in the database. I reran the read and it listed the B162B again.

Next I ran the performance tune, Power level 91 oct, Options Trans setting Sport, Speed Limiter 150, Tire Size 28.25.

I viewed settings just prior to programming and everything was listed correct except tire size was 28.50. I reselected everything making sure I selected 28.25 but when viewing settings tire size is 28.50

I went ahead and programmed. When finished the first thing I noticed is that the trans no longer shows 1-5, it's back to 1-4. Went for a short test drive and the trans won't shift. (it might at red line but I didn't want to try it) When I put her in reverse the trans acted like it was slipping, the RPM went up but I didn't move. I let up the accelerator and and tried again and it backed up correctly the second time. I guess the sport trans tune hasn't been fixed. As least not for me.

I don't know what happened with the tire size.

Reprogrammed as above but with Performance trans tune and my 300C is happy again.

Jeff

EDIT: I checked for DTC codes using the ignition switch and it listed ----. I rechecked with the SC after flashing and it listed no codes.
