Superchips 3825 V1.01 Issues

Guy's....

We are working on resolving the issues that you all have addressed. As of right now there is no way to revert back to the original program. For those of you that have a loss in throttle response we are looking into this. I know that you all have spent a good chunk of change on our product and we here at Superchips do appreciate your business..

Now back to business Derek,Rob and I are bustin' tail over here to figure out what we can do to make the necessary changes to keep you all happy. Let me address a couple of the issues that you all are seeing.

1. "loss of power": In the newest update V1.01 there is No loss of power We have made no calibration changes that affected true horsepower. We didn't change Air/fuel or ignition timing. Those both remained the same. What we did change was the perceived throttle slope. This is what originally caused some of you to notice a "surge". The surge issue affects all cars. I know that not all of you noticed a surge. In this case it was not weather you notice a surge it was when the surge would happen. The surge only shows it self under certain circumstances. The throttle slope it just how sensitive the throttle is when you depress it.

What we need from you all is basically the same as the last update. This is only for the people that have updated from V1.00 to V1.01 I need any one that is having issues to email FlashPaq.com with your current issues. I am going to post a list of issues below. If you are having an issue after you updated that was not a problem prior to updating send us an email with the issue that is listed below in the title field. If your issue is the throttle response please don't E-mail us at this time. We recognize that some of you are unhappy with the throttle response and are already looking into a possible resolution. Also in the email include your build date, make, model and configuration info. To find your configuration info plug your tuner into your vehicle go to "read vehicle" then select "read vehicle I.D." copy all info down form that screen and include it in the email. After you read you read vehicle, press the exit button twice and then you will be able to remove the FlashPaq.

Issue #1 No "5" on the PRNDL display.
If you no longer have 5th gear and had it prior to updating to V1.01 please E-mail us with the Title
"3825-NO 5th" in the title line.

If your vehicle is not shifting properly (I.E. it will not hold gear when selected or it is hitting the rev. limiter before shifting.)(Remember it must have worked prior to the update and now is not functioning) and has a 5th gear E-mail us with the Title "3825-Shifting with 5"

If you have the same problem as above and do not have fifth gear, E-mail us with the title "3825-shifting without 5"

I just wanted to give you guys a heads up and let you know that we do know that there are some issues still and we are working on them. Derek or myself will keep you all updated as soon as we get more info.

Thanks Ladies and Gentlemen, J

I just got Superchips Flashpag Part #3825 (updated to V1.01) for my 2006 Chrysler 300c 5.7L (build date: Dec 2005, Australian version) couple of days ago.

The 1st install went smoothly. My settings are:
1. Power lever: Performance 91
2. Trans settings: Custom:
- Reduce Torque Management
- Paddle Auto Kick
- I did not change the shift point
3. Speed limiter: raised to 200MPH
4. Tire size: I did not change this setting

I got the 5th gear option after I install this, the throttle response is MUCH MUCH better than stock and the car shift firmer and direct than stock. However, the car is not shifting properly (it is hitting the rev. limiter before shifting in my case). I seems the car tried to shift above 5800rpm.

I tried re-install/re-flash my car again after 2 days because I just wanted to see if there's any changes. I choose the SAME SETTINGS and the flash went smoothly. However, I LOST the 5th gear option BUT the gear is shifting PROPERLY now. (I prefer this result).

It surprised me, why would the same settings resulting different outcome??

I just wanted to let you know regarding my experience, it might help you find or fix these issues.
