Jet Chip vs SuperChip, Please let me know

I currently have a JetChip Stage 1, but Im going to upgrade to a Stage 2.
My question is, should I buy a Stage 2 and a Super Chip, or just get a Super Chip?
Also, are there any problems to look out for with the Super Chip because I hear they were giving problems to the 2006 models?

I have no personnal experience with the Jet chips, but from what I have read (and I've read a lot on these forums), the Jet Chip is a more mature piece of technology. From what I understand, however, is you get what you get.

The Superchips FlashPaq can be updated with later tunes and actually flashes the cars computer with a new program. Slick technology, and Superchips is working out the bugs with the initial release of the tunes.

I have an 06 300c, and have the SC FP. I have the minor issues that are described here in the forums (Throttle curve and minor surging), but SC is working on those.

Also, look at the Buy/Sell forum. There are guys that are selling their Jet Chips because they bought the SC FP. That should tell you something.

Good Luck!

No wonder the Jet CHips were popping up like crazy.
Well Superchips here I come.
I cant wait.
Now I gotta read up on Superchips instead of the Jet Chip.
O, BTW, if I bring my car into the dealer, can I flash my computer back to stock, or what, hows that work.

That's the recommended practice. The Tuner will copy your existing Stock setup to the tuner itself before it updates.

You need to set back to stock incase the Dealer flashes your vehicle. That way (when you update the tune later), you have the latest stock program on your tuner.

There are MANY MANY posts here and on LXForums about the Superchips and it's trials, tribulations and successes.

i have both, first had the jet chip, then replaced it with the SC... no comparison. its a totally different car with SC. i really didnt feel much difference when i had jet chip.. maybe because the SC has me brainwashed and i totally forgot about the jet chip.

One last question.
Should I install the SC right out of the box, or update it?

Just intall it right from the box, I hear it works better that way and you will defenitely see the difference in throttle response.

How do you like the JBA exhaust? I just ordered a setup similar to yours, including the JBA and the JET Stage 2 chip. I am curious about your results.
