gsm supercharger or heads/intake

OK I would love to hear from someone who has done one or the other or both. I am ready to do one not both $$$. I am comfortable putting on the SC as I have done it before but would need help with the heads/intake install. any experiences one way or the other would be appreciated.

Love the ported heads / intake. Going on 3 months now and not a bit of trouble, only tremendous torque and pleasure. The car's computor has adapted to the work and feels much stronger now as compared to the first week or two. I've driven the SC'd cars a couple of times and for some reason I just prefer to stay normally aspirated and await more mods as GSM releases them. Since you have experience with SC'd cars, why don't you talk to Sleeper 300, who has just recently gone through the same decision making process and had chosen both the porting and the SC (plus I'm sure he can give you some excellent advice regarding install). GSM is great, either way you can't go wrong. Good luck!

Good advice Doyle...
Sleeper300 has a ton of experience already with either set-up and is becoming quite the centerpiece (stolen from the pictures behind GS- )

What kind of effect are you seeing on gas mileage, from the porting?

No changes in gas mileage at this time. I've consistently averaged 13 - 14 mph for my daily mix of street and freeway driving since day one.

It's pretty crappy?

I thought it would be a little better?

Apparently you are driving it the way it was meant to be driven. I've been 15 - 17, a little higher mpg, and the 17 is only if I do more than the usual amount of freeway driving. City driving in this car really sucks down the gas.

Torque, hmmm that is the weakest point in my car's performance. Now I'm thinking ...

I have quickly realized that I am addicted to torque artichoke, and although I know there is a current debate about the headers, the Kooks went on in November and that was my first fix and one that I did not have to guess about, the bump in torque was very obvious to me. This porting was another very obvious bump in torque, one that has left me wanting yet another fix. Thank goodness my wife understands because as soon as GSM comes out with something else (and they will) I'm there and Scott knows it. Pizzaking, pricing might be different now, plus it's based upon headers/no headers, springs/no springs, you'll have to talk to Scott. Good luck!

I too have the heads/intake upgrade. Addicted to HP is putting it lightly. As soon as Scott comes out with more power mods, I will be in line for them.

Although the supercharger packages make more power, I wanted to go with the stealth look under the hood. I love the TQ and HP increases.
