Angry Problems already with Flashpaq

I received my Flashpaq a week ago. I updated the tuner this week and today was the day to install. When I tried to change performance settings an error message came up "Locked VIN". The VIN that was on the tuner didn't match my VIN. Unfortunitely, you can't contact a single person about this on a weekend. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm wondering if they sent me a used tuner. Everything look brand new in the box and the USB cable was still sealed in plastic. If you know of a solution, please let me know.

Wow sounds like you did get a used unit. When you use it for the first time it copies the vin into the flashpaq. They don't have any weekend coverage so you will have to wait until monday to contact them. Hope you get it resolved quickly.

Have you tried calling the place you bought it from to see about an exchange?

It is possible they had a return and didn't realize it was used, so you ended up with it.

Also, did you do the first step of saving the stock install to the flashpaq? That has to be done first.

I am sure SuperChips tests all the tuners before they send them out.. maybe this particular one wasnt cleared before packaging and shippment, and the info from their test stayed in the tuner.. i know it sucks cause you wanna use it NOW!! but i wouldnt worry about it, they will resolve it for you for sure.
