MOPAR intake!!

Yep I ordered the mopar intake on friday off ebay. $302.99 shipped, 4 day delivery. I can't wait, it's my first performance mod! Not looking for any real performance, just want to hear the sound of the intake. I'll show pics and let ya know what I think when I get it.

Welp a lil too late for that. I was actually supposed to get it for $275 because I had a coupon on Ebay for 10% up to $25 off but it didn't work for some reason, which kind of pissed me off but oh well I guess, not much I can do about it. Should be here by tomorrow though!

Heck yeah I'm excited, hopefully tomorrow it'll be in my car. Oh and by the way I checked the mopar super center and it said $304 shipped, it was $292 before shipping. But oh well either way its still bout 300 bucks.

Yeah I have one being shipped too...I tried to support a Forum vendor " Wyckoff Chrysler " and they had it back-ordered, but today I get my "it's shipped" confirmation...Woohoo, who cares that I paid $5 more the somewhere else, Look globally, shop locally support the ones that are there for you......

I am wondering what if any real differences there are between the MOPAR air intake for the 5.7 Hemi vs. the K & N. I read somewhere that the mopar is actually made by K&N, but when I look at pictures, it looks like the mounting is different. I am thinking of getting one for my C Heritage (ships on Friday, woo hoo!) but if there is no substantive difference, I'll save some money and get the K & N. Besides that the red of the K&N will match the inferno red parts under the hood. Thoughts?

Coupon expired on March 31st. I know because I used it on my Magnaflow exhaust.
