Question on chip

I am new to this site. I was on a road trip last weekend and govern'd the car at 125. I was kind of upset when my last car did 155 and it was a 4 banger turbo'd. Does the chip allow for faster top end speed.

With the SuperChips FlashPaq you can change the speed limiter. Set it anywhere from 125 to light speed!
