Talking Hamburger Throttle Body Spacer

I know there has been a lot of threads discussing Throttle Body Spacers (TBS) and Cold Air Induction (CAI) units in these threads. And I know that a lot of them have been mostly on the negative side. But after installing both of these on my 300C, I have to say that the difference is simply amazing.

The acceleration has improven substantially. It almost seems as quick as my Corvette Z06. So talking about acceleration, I do have something to compare the car to. For as little as these two mods cost, they deliver far more performance than most other mods that I have done on so many previous cars.

If you do not have these mods, you really should try them before knocking them. I first started with the K&N CAI and then later finally installing the Hamburger TBS. The TBS really woke the car up. It almost feels like I installed a shift kit.

I really do love this car!

Wow...that is the best endorsement of a TBS that I've hear! I am glad you liked it and could tell a difference. My experience was not so noticeable and because I have made a habit (bad habit) of installing my upgrades as soon as they arrive without having the patients to wait and install them one at a time I have not been able to accurately determine how much of the total improvement is attributable to any one upgrade. It sure would be interesting if you could dyno that car and see what real hp gains you have gotten. Anyway, I am glad you are happy...it is a fantastic feeling to make a mod and be able to feel a real improvement.

Throttle body spacer made by Hamburger Performance. Probably a lot of people sell this. But I am a big fan of Summit Racing. They always seem to have the best price on everything I need.

I first saw the installation on a TV show called 2Guys Garage on the Speed channel. They usually install the better modifications. They did not mention the dyno results. But the manufacturer claims HP, Torque and mileage increases better than the rest, (Of course they all say that). But this is the part that I like. NO WHISTLE!!

I have not seen the mileage increases, because I am always smashing down on the gas pedal. Oh yeah!

I don't get it. Why wouldn't Chrysler install this if it added better performance? I don't know how much it costs, but it doesn't look expensive.

This is BS.

The original purpose of a TBS was so heat transfer didn't occur. Does anyone in the right mind really think a .5" spacer is going to make a difference BEFORE the airflow travels the distance of the intake manifold?

Yes, the CAI does work. But unless you have a seriously worked over SRT-8, you're not anywhere close to low 12s.

Might as well buy the Typhoon and then your car WILL be as fast as your Z-06....

I have some Turbonium oil that I can sell people also. This oil is guaranteed
to lubricate all your internal engine parts in order to keep them running
cooler versus a no oil condition.

And the best part is, its only $38.00 a quart for full protection!!!

Get yours now!!

This spacer looks just like the Jet and Airraid. Probably performs just as bad. It basically make a nice whooshing sound at certain throttle positions almost making it sound like you have a turbo or Supercharger.

At least they could have made it thick enough so you could put in some NOS jet nozzles.
