The BG flash can do allot like removing the throttle reduction durring shifts and torque managment be carefull not to get too much timing advance though. The pistons have real thin ring lands and break easy under detonation. The BG can also tune air fuel ratio for a bigger cam. I have had good success with ported heads, bigger cams with the both the 6.1 and 5.7 hemi. Initially I sent a 6.1 cam off to comp cams and had it reground for more lift and duration, it required an SMT6 piggyback to make it idle, although, now there are some cams available that don't require programable tuning to work. The heads are good for 30-40 HP also. The SRT8 package actually has a pretty good set of headdars from the factory so the gains aren't as much as you get from most engines but you can get a little more power with long tubes. Now that it's cooling off I think we will start to see more gains from the mods that went on durring the summer. You would also need to start with a decent CAI the stock one is pretty restrictive and with out it you won't see as much gain from the other mods.
