I was coming home from Home depot in the SRT and I spot this very nice red coupe up ahead. So, I speed up and get next to it. Holy ****!!!!! It's a C6 Z06 vette!!!! This might not be rare where you are, but until today I had the fastest car for 180 miles, this guy was just driving through since he had out of state plates. So we end up at a light in the middle of downtown (remember small town of less than 20k people and lots of cops), I rev up and do a little burnout to get his attention. He revs up and man that Z06 sounds mean, I'd love to have one.

The anticipation builds as it is a fairly long light. I know I'm going to get wasted in the first 50 feet but it's going to be interesting if this guy can't shift. The light finally turns green and we both stomp it, I've got my DIY esp off, and we're both spinning tires a bit. He edges out in front of me, right away about 3/4 of a car length ahead by the other side of the intersection.

Then the idiot shifts too early becuase of the spinning tires, and misses the shift and buts it into 3 or 4th, dumbass..... So I pass him and get about a 1/2 car length ahead at this point and I keep gaining. He fixes his shift mistake and starts really hauling ass to catch up to me he's going to pass me easily in just a second after I have 3 car lengths on him at least. All of a sudden my V1 starts going crazy, I immeadiatly downshift and stomp on the brake knowing that the bogey is up front somwhere. He hauls ass past me wanting to show off, and guess what. A cop is just pulling up to the next intersection in front of us. I'm going a couple miles an hour over the limit, he's doing at least 50 over the limit in a 30.......

I consider that a double kill....... 1 for the idiot who should have wasted me easily but couldn't shift any better than my 92 year old grandma, and 2 for having not being smart enough to take a hint when someone shuts down fast.

He was certainly a newbie at driving that thing. They'll do 68MPH in 1st Gear alone. No need to be rowing that thing too much. He needs to learn.

nice kill.

So I finally got my nitrous hooked up yesterday and tested it out. It is great. I tested it about 4 times last night. So, I'm at work today and decide I would grab some breakfast. I go out to my car and decide to open the bottle for a tiny shot of fun. I get to the main road and stop at the stop light. Light turns green so I open it up just to feel the kick. Only to third gear. But I look in my mirror just to make sure everything is cool and see this mustang trying to keep up. So, instead of turning into Jack in the Box (Yes, I eat there a lot) I went straight to get into my very first race with nitrous. There was only one lane available, so he had to get behind me. Light turned green so I opened it up just a little bit so he would have room to change lanes once we both passed up the cars that were next to me. Once he swerved over to pass me, I opened it up and fired the juice. He never even reached my front doors before I was gone. I was pretty excited at that point. Then as I slowed down to give him the nice friendly wave, we turned right practically fish tailing. I dont know what size engine it was, but it sounded pretty mean.
