Just wait till your Hemi gets some miles on it .

Mine really came on at about 2500 miles. This car is soooo quick off the line - engine; tranny; rear suspension just bite that 390 ft/lb of torque into the pavement.

Ate a ricer Lexus yesterday - a big one - a 4something with gold badges. He tried to sneak by me on the right which merged into a 2 lane twisty country road. I let him get his fender ahead - then walked it.

Beat him by 2 car lengths to the merge. He climbed my bumper coming into the twisty bits (seemed quite pissed - judging by the hand motions).

That was his second mistake. Boy, this car is fun! Puts a whole new meaning on "Road Kill"

Hi Chaseme,

Yeah, us old farts grew up with big V-8 rear drivers, $10 bucks in our pocket and grease all over our faces....

Here's a link to a thread about draggin'

http://www.300cforums.com/showthread...7039#post17039

Keep one thing in mind. There are faster cars out there. True drivers show respect for one another. With the 300C you won't have to look far for challengers. Just make eye contact - they'll let you know. Usual road safety rules apply - no need to go up to high speeds - it's all over in a few seconds.

Most lesser life forms require very high revs and perfect timing to get a competitive launch - 'cause they ain't got no torque.

All you gotta do is walk on the loud pedal and let the C do the talking'.

Enjoy.

Well, I know I probably shouldn't post this here, but I fianlly had the occasion where the wifey and I were on the interstate, she in her 300C, me in my 03 F-150 Harley (supercharged). I did beat her, but not by much. Then she tells me later she had the A/C on I said I bet you had a bowl of goldfish in the seat too.

Nissan Z

I kind of like the new Z---it is a bit of a throw back...The worst part about it was I had to put my Dunkin' Donuts Coffee down. I need one hand on the wheel and the other to wave goodbye to the black Z as my magnisium C left him totally in the dust. Does anyone know what that toy has under the hood anyway? You have to pull up to one of those. The guy with the trendy sunglasses and yankee cap actually thought he had a shot...2500 miles today and it is just starting to purr now....

It has a 287 hp 3.5L V6. It's a good engine, the car is a little heavy for its size though.

I'll tell you people get so pissed. Everytime I'm at one of those lights where it is two lanes but 100 yards or so up ahead after the light it merges into one. There always is some guy who thinks they will get ahead of you. Mustang, BMW, Lexus, or one of those souped up import hydrids (part SUV part car thing), or even say a Grand Prix GTP. You beat their buts and than they ride your but cause they are pissed. The one car I left alone was a Mercedes V-12, thats a monster.
