Hey B D. A blower is not needed for that. My best 0-60 on the EVIC is 4.88 without a blower, and the 300C. So, it is possible.

Nitrous can be substituted for a blower.

Mustang GT...

...Goes down in flames.

Same stretch of road as with the G8. Light traffic.

I hit the gas a swerved to get around this Jeep that was going slow and apparently the Mustang behind me felt it necessary to try and show me up. He swerved right of me and cut me off.

Ok then.

At this point I couldn't possibly think this guy could be stupid enough in a STOCK Mustang to want to play.

Well, apparently he was that stupid. Traffic cleared up and I happened to be in front. Got in the right lane and he was on my arse like glue.

Punched it and he just could not keep up. By the time I hit 145MPH he was a speck in my rear view mirror.

He never came up to me after that, and I was cruising at a mere 65MPH waiting for him.

Nada.

What a tool.

Good one, TripleV!

What seems to separate the men from the boys is not who has the fastest car - but what happens after the race. A real man would catch up to you and give you the thumbs up.

Right you are Pat!

Every time I lose a race I give the guy a thumbs up and even try to strike up some chat if I'm really impressed....Just like that turbo 350Z. Wow what a car that was.

It also separates the egoistic racer boys from the true auto enthusiasts.

If there's a car that I know I can't beat I won't go pickin' a fight, but if he/she comes picking a fight with me I'll race even if I think I'll lose....Then it's thumbs up!

okay...

here's on for ya'... moving out for coffee on Sunday AM, still dark. Get my java and hit the road for my fav industrial park for a little rubber burnin'. On the way I come upon a Caddy STS-V. It's a dead straight road for 4 miles or so. I overtake him, pass, and he gets a little aggressive, so I decide I'll hit it from my sweet spot at 59 MPH. We are so dead even it's not even funny! At 120 my car starts a slow pull that barely nets me a full length on the guy at 150 mph. But my pull is still there all the way, so the outcome was never in doubt.

What a run. One of the best I've had in a while. Got a real nice thumbs up from the driver.

Excellent!!!! In the past two years of running the 300, I have only come across 1 person willing to run over 130 and that blew his motor into bits with a nitrous blast trying to get away. At first I thought we hit a fog bank but soon realized it was his car just in front of me. It was 10:30 at night so I am quite sure he did not get much sleep
