added another C5 to the kill list
I love running these cars because they NEVER expect to lose.
i was getting on a very long, empty access road, there was a lowered, blacked out C5 in front of me. it had an exhaust and that was all i could tell aside from the visual mods.
get this, it was a female, cool.
i honestly didnt think she would do anything so i just decided to get in the lane next to her just to pass her, not to try to race her.

im doin about 40 and about to pass her and she downshifts obviously and guns it, tryin to not let me pass her even though there were 3 lanes on this particular access road.
im quick to put it in second and im on it too.
she started about 1.5 car lengths in front of me and it was a beautiful thing watchin me reel her in and pass her by.
right as i was pullin in front and quickly away from her she brakes and never comes back up to me.

i love it.

Starting in 2nd at 40mph and you reel in a C5 from a 1.5 CL deficit? You beat the driver most likely in an A4.

It would have taken you forever into the triple digits to reel in a properly driven 6M with a 1.5 head start and you in 2nd at 40mph....

The dreaded 40 mph roll. That is the worst possible speed to be starting from with the gearing of our SRT8s. Another gear would come in real handy. I would think that the 1.5 car length head start would be very difficult to overcome, especially starting in 2nd at the worst possible speed.

no clue if it was an auto or not.
it obviously downshifted and i started at around 40, didnt pass her until about 80 or 90 i bet. so it was almost triples.
c5 aint that fast

2nd in my car at 40's, only takes til about 50 before it wakes up.
c5 cant shift into 1st at 40 either, so it was not in its power band either

i see the power you are making, which numbers wise, is more than what i make.
have you never ran a c5?
it would (should if you indeed are making that power) do the same as what i do. c5 only has 350hp, we make about 100WHP more. power to weight is to OUR advantage.

good kill

a good kill. Period.

Everyone knows that on any given day any car can whip another.

Good job, and especially due to the 1.5 car spot.

just for a laugh, i pulled up next to a scion tc with a HUGE body kit on it making it take up almost a hole lane, with a car full of young kids like myself... i simply pull up next to them, make sure they acknowledge i'm there. What do i do... Point laugh at his car and take off.
i'd say it quallifies as blown away because clearly there was no competition lol
