In an amendment to my earlier post about trying to run with a CL55.....the owner (who's car happens to be in the shop....go figure) drove my SRT8 the other night with the ESP on told me he THOUGHT that he might beat my 8, but he'd be too afraid to do so if it was for slips He was so impressed with the car that he's trying to find one right now. he thought that he would have the edge to 60, but he said the 8 just pulled too hard up to 120 for him to honestly say he wouldn't have an issue beating my car. Absolutely blew his mind that the 8 didn't have a supercharger and cost about $70,000 less than his AMG. BTW, I told him I was going to add the CAI, JET and exhaust and he said flat out....I will not race you if you do those mods!!!!SSSWWWWEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTT!!!!

I still wouldn't want to tangle with one, but it's interesting to get an AMG owners perspective on this car.

Can you elaborate on this Trans Am you raced. What model/year and what was the outcome?

O.k. Now you're being a troll.

Go back and post your kills on the Maxima boards.

But let me ask you something first.

If you lined up all the Maximas in the world to compete against all the 300's who do you think would come out ahead? .... Don't forget about the bone stock high 12 second SRT8 now....

That's what I thought.

virgilio7

first, congrats...
everyone has their day...
second, stay on your Nissan board...
we don't post there so don't post here...
this is your second thread going...
third, vvv90 is right...
match your tricked out top of the line Altima against ANY 300C SRT-8 which is our premium line car and get stomped...
guess vvv90 and I will just have to have one of our guys down there in So. FL who has a 300C SRT-8 do it for us though...
I bit my tongue earlier as to your post here earlier, but to continue will just cause useless banter between all involved and waste everyone's time...
so go back to the nissan board and gloat there.
because the only props you are going to get here are the ones I gave you above...
Sincerely,
