GSM Problems (formerly 'Thank you GSmotorsports')

I just finished installing my s/c on my 300c srt8 and all i can say is wow she pulls twice as hard as she did. It is amazing to see this four door car fly the way she does. Corvettes and Cobras look out. I am going to no problem raceway wednesday night so i will be posting results when i get home. once again thanks GSmotorsports

Congratulations on your install. I sincerely hope you’re car achieves what you want it to achieve without mishap. We have read several instances in which the motor didn’t survive this mod…..do you have concerns? Best wishes and good luck killing those Vettes and Cobras!

I have read all the bad but i have read alot of good. i am just running the stock setting for now until we pull the motor and bulletproof the bottom end then we will see some real #'s and real boost.

srt8danno there is always concern but how boring would life be if we never modded everyone would run the same and we would have to stay home with wifes and girlfriends instead of hanging with the guys at the shop and at the track.

quest for power...

Good luck on your quest for power, yet there are some options left unknown. did you get a base kit or the big boost kit. .

The kit makes good power, yet doesn't even come close to what they claim it can make, since tuning isn't even close to being figured out and my buddy has the Fastest SRT8 on DR's in the country 11.51 @ 122 My car only went 12.37 @ 115 on street tires.

Take good notes and keep an eye on your plugs, since all the engines i'm aware of that have lost cylinders would have been found early with more frequent plug checks.

Enjoy with caution. P.s. check your plug shank lenths, are your stock plugs longer than the plugs in your kit? I'll bet unless they changed something that they aren't even colder ranges. that's what i found in mine, threads left exposed to combustion and a stock range plug, worse case senario that should have blown more engines than they have.

In all honesty, good luck I really hope it works for you! Just please keep an eye on the plugs, mainly the front 1-3 cyclinders..seems the majority of the burnt pistons were from the front due to the way the stock manifold dist air...
