Shows you are just who I thought you were after making that statement. And....my corrected DA, was 11.98 @ 122 MPH for that particular run. Hmmm...that is about a full second ahead of you, my friend. Do I need to school you on how much that time "owned you."

So you've got to run your car at sea level with a great da....big deal. Not because of your wonderful starts.

Now go check your air in your tires and make sure you have that safety vest on.

Dang, Bullwinkle, simmer down!

Hey, I'm only poking at you because you started it! Can't stand the heat? And when did you become the all knowing one who knows who I am? That's inferring a lot from a typed word! You don't know, period. But if you think so, then you're right, of course!

I love the amazing insight that you somehow know me because I'm cautious. I'm also good looking! Or did you already know???

Now, I'll grant you that chemically pumped up Hemi of yours can (and should) outrun me side by side. But I'll guarantee you, 35 years of experience can still cut a mean light at the track, even WITH a safety vest. Put us in identical cars at the same track and you don't have a chance. And that's the ONLY time it matters. Side by side, Mano Y Mano. DA is irrelevant. It's all about the driver, not the car.

Besides, you haven't seen the tops of your pistons yet. I'll be waiting to hear when she blows. Sooner or later it's bound to happen. I am NOT wishing you ill, just seen it happen way too often in many different cars. It's my duty to try and inform these younger, less experienced owners out there who come into this forum and assume you guys know what you're talking about. And it doesn't matter what you say, I still get to talk all I want.

No reputable engine builder will endorse any Nitrous in these cars without major mechanical and tuning mods. Dozens of others will install anything to make a buck. A few more will think they know better.

BTW, I'll post at least a low 11 with my Healy replica this winter. And there's no nitrous involved. All motor. I think with a properly sorted rear suspension it could do a high ten! AND THERE ARE MODS coming for the SRT8. Hell, my brother in law is a top notch machine shop owner! I'm just proceeding cautiously. I've blown dozens of motors to develop my attitude and experience. I'll get a very low 12 with mods that do no harm to my car.

And remember what a smart old drag racer once said when asked why he was a ****y and wore a 5 point harness when no one else did in super stock class: "there's a thin line 'tween courage and stupid!"

I'll keep my vest on. You get to do whatever you want. Don't you just love this country?

Don't make me show you all up on my sweet new ride. This thing is being pimped as we speak and runs 10's all day long.
10 feet in 10 seconds.

You're still getting it wrong.

I love the heat, bring it on.

Bring your car to a track with the DA I am fighting and we'll see.

I have no problem if you are trying to "educate the young." But speculation does not educate.

Tried to get under your skin...and it worked. That was too easy.

Moose,

What track are you running at?

Dang, you can come up here to good ol Albuquerque at 5500 feet. lol I hate this altitude.

Nothing more embarassing than running this beauty a 13.9@100.9 when it was NA.... lol Corrected was 12.8@109 or close to that. I can't remember the DA factors now.

Are you still running the GSM supercharger etc.? I haven't been on the forum for a while due to all of the brake hating issues from a while back and I've lost touch with what everyone is doing.
