woah, sorry to hear about the blown engine from the supercharger install ... Thank God, you were only going 30 mph; and I take it just had the engine cease up -- without injury to you or anyone else on the road...
customer quote:
After stripping further, we found a lot of water in my engine - therefore, water causing the con rods and pistons to cease and snap. NOT only that, it seems that the car has over revved - due to the piggy back ecu deleting my rev limiter!! <end quote>
The supercharger did not blow up all 8 pistons and rods, you would have to drive in to very deep water and this would have happened supercharged or not, the air filter design is located behind the front valance and nearly sealed in the drivers front corner...this is user error period.
our engine managment systems dose nothing with the rev limiter period, the sad fact is some one that dosent have any knowledge can blame everyone but himself, we talked to this customer in scotland and he was very happy till he drove his car in a lake and blamed the supercharger.
scott i am having trouble i will not say with the s/c but maybe some kind of management system i am not sure i am in New Orleans so i think i need more fuel but cannot log into the ecu because i am having trouble finding a 9 pin laptop any suggestions or what type of computer do you all use. i tried calling and left a message but no call back i just want to make my car run right i am not blaming anyone people forget can you maybe have someone give me a call. i will pm you my # thanks

how many engines with the s/c have blown?i,m only asking because of all the reports on this post.can you straiten this out for us?thanks.
How can you blame GS for filling your motor with water. I have 15,000 supercharged miles on my 300 srt8. How sad is it when people jump to conclusions and then pour insult upon a shop that is and has been an innovator since day one.
What you describe is much like calling a cell phone manufacturer and complaining that your phone died while scuba diving. No S...T sherlock.
