Eibach AWD Spring set-thoughts?

I am on the verge if buying a set of the Eibachs because they are the only cost effective way of lowering my CAWD that I can find. Does anybody out there have some input on what to expect? I have a short commute and average less than 7k miles a year on relatively smooth roads here in Morris County NJ. This mod is purely for profilin' cause I can't stand drivin' something that looks like its on tippytoes all the time. I have a full Global West suspension in my Firebird and a Turbo cup suspension in the 944 conekiller, so I know what harsh is. I don't want harsh. I need to be able to take the wife out on Friday nights for dinner and not get a ration about how bouncy it rides.

TIA for input

Well from other forum members I found that they will make the ride more harsh and that there is a problem with the bushings wearing out too fast. No one has addressed this issue yet so I'm on hold for the lowering. The only route that I've read about that won't give you a harsh ride or ruin bushings is the is the air bag system. Although expensive might be your only choice as of now.

The only problem with lowering with the Eibachs is you will blow out the shocks faster than without them.An alignment will need to be done but it won't be a problem. The ride will become firmer but not really harsh.I ran Eibachs in my R/T for 6 month's then put the Eibach Dampers in when they became availabe.Maybe someone will get us an aftermarket front strut.I believe the AWD rear shock and the RWD shock are the same.

I saw a thread where a vendor was discussing that actual possibility with Koni. The KW V1s are about the only other option, but at $1200 plus install & alignment, I can wait.

The KW V1's wont fit the AWD, you would have to go with the V2's.

I have the sportsline kit lowers it lowers it 2inches and boy did the handling greatly improve yes I can feel every bump in the road but when I go around a curve/turn the car doesnt feel like it going to flip over on its side like it did when I had the stock springs in. I think it handles great. I also have never bottomed out or anything like that.
