Corsa it's No BULL

It took me just over a week, but I can conclude without a shadow of a doubt that I made the best choice in exhaust systems. My fun started this past Saturday. The entire day was planned; early run, Irvine car show, LA Peterson M&G, lunch and coastal run back to San Diego. Who can argue that? It's better than Christmas day will be for me this year?

I leave San Diego at 5:30am to meet a couple of forum members at DCX in Irvine. Half of the way or until just leaving Oceanside (locals know what I mean) I just hammer the throttle all the way to Irvine. I can say with the Corsa I was able to achieve 19.8 mpg until I got off the hwy. From that point forward with all the excessive revving I was able to maintain 14.8 mpg. Keep in mind that it all started with Fatchance sitting in the DCX parking lot and I perform 4 successive drive buys with ESP off around all four corners of the building. Beautiful!!!!!!

After the Irvine auto show we roll over to Huntington Beach and pick up more forum members. Pulling into the parking lot and rev the **** out of 1st, other member’s definitely noticed and came over to check out Corsa. Rolling I would say at least 5 deep maybe more, we make it over to Peterson in LA. The M&G was at the 3rd level of this parking structure that had ramps taking you up each level that looked like a scene out of Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift. The sound of Corsa in a parking structure is unreal. The M&G was great, meeting new members and went on a cool tour. I mean anything with cars involved is great.

After great debate (damn), I’d say at least 8 deep maybe more roll over to Pinks for lunch. Great lunch and great conversation leads to the heading in the direction of where ever home is. About 10 minutes into the car I’m just dying to get back out on the hwy and head toward the coast and then all the way down the coast to San Diego. Let me tell you, Wholly Sh!t!!!!. As soon as traffic ends I can’t take the pain any longer, so I gun the **** out of the car from that point until I saw ocean. The car was dialed in, sounded incredible and the performance is right there. Driving the car since adding Corsa, I’m hitting all the stock limits and want more. I can’t deny it. My list of next mods has just changed dramatically.

To conclude, "I would buy a Corsa system no matter what displacement." This opinion has been formed by listening and driving behind others for the last several months (thanks Fatchance and CButler32). For me it's not what is better for each displacement. IMHO, it's do you want the patented straight-through, non-restrictive design, tuned to eliminate annoying interior resonance, which is common to all of the other aftermarket muffler systems.

looking good......

keep us posted on the sound as the system ages.....

I put my corsa on earlier this spring......and it is starting to get louder, especially with freeway driving and when the MDS kicks in...

I have been in contact with Corsa and we are working on setting up a time to go to the factory here in northern Ohio so we can trouble shoot the increasing sound......kind of buzzy and metallicly (if thats a word) and definetly a deep hum with the MDS at 65 to 75mph...

Definitely, I'm sure someone I know has a digital video camera and wouldn't mind filming some drive-bys one of these crazy weekends.
