pawalu - The superchips flashpaq works great with or without headers but if superchips is coming out with something new, I would love to hear more about it. Keep us posted.

They are "supposed" to be offering custom tunes the first of the year. What that means is wide open

Thanks guys, I'm just so frustrated because I haven't been able to run the programmer. I was one of the first to purchase it for $365.00 through High Horseman. So there I was about to install it when I hear that if you have long tube headers, you may run to lean and hurt the motor. Since then I hear of some that have taken the chance, run the programmer with long tube headers and haven't had any issues. But I would be the one to run into trouble. Of course I've heard and so have all of you that superchips is spose to come out with a long tube program sometime in Fall. As of now, the programmer has been enjoyed by friends of mine that have been using it.
Aloha

I posted about the same thing a couple of weeks ago in the Superchips section. Ron replied with no new info. Someday...? I know, maybe for Christmas! Ron are you listening.

you can still benefit from the transmission improvements the flashpaq offers. that's the main difference anyway.

your friend will have to return their car back to stock before it will work on yours, however. It won't work on 2 cars at once.
