Flashpack Help and Questions

ok yesterday I received a TCM from another member, we are trading because his TCM allows the Flashpack to have features I want and locks out the features he wants and mine allows the features he wants and locks out the ones I want..

Now on my original TCM:

Paddle-Kick doesn't work (error message that feature not available)
the "5" in manual mode will not show.

On the New TCM:

Flashpack accepts Paddle-Kick mode, but it doesn't appear to be working, can someone explain to me how it is supposed to work cause my interpretation of it seems to be inaccurate:

I still don't get the "5" to appear in any mode programmed by the FP

lastly, with my original TCM I was idling at 680rpm

the New one I am idling at 530rpm -550rpm and have a terrible Shake while sitting in gear and stopped (in neutral it jumps to 700rpm and no shake)

Ideas and comments please...

I haven't paid attention to the paddle kick and see if the 5 is there or not -I'll try to check it on my way home tonight.

As far as the idle, My car also idles at about 5 something and it does surge up to about 7 something when sitting at drive.
