SRT owners: Programmers, chips and flashes...

Computer tricks for dummies... What would be the best for me? I have a mopar CAI and a magnaflow exhaust on the way.

Does anyone out there have the JET chip or B&G flash in thier 6.1L? The B&G is more than twice the cost of the Jet chip.. Please let me know which one you went with and why and if you were happy with the results? I would really like my governer removed and my idle speed and rev limiter raised a little bit.. - does the JET chip do this?

I just can't beleive that Superchips and Hypertech can't come up with something and JET and B&G could... Am I missing something here???

I went to tbryne's website and the Jet chip doesn't have that much info on it. Here's how they list the Jet and b&G...: Click the computers tab to the left of the page...

No one has made a significant improvement over stock. There just isn't much room to improve given the car is tuned to run at 91 octane and has a 10.3 CR. Until we get the ability to program A/F maps etc. don't expect much.

Does anyone out here have the B&G on thier 6.1L??

Someone has to think something positive about the raised rev limiter and the increased idle speed of 700?

These were the reasons I wanted to upgrade, are they good enough reasons for street driving?

B&g

BobF or Formerly BobF or 6Point1 or whatever his name is, has and likes the B&G on his SRT-8. A few others have posted good results.

Yes, I have had the B&G stage 2 flash for quite a few months now. It complimented my other intake and exhaust mods well and have never regretted it.

Just thought it perked up the car a bit. The car was very strong after the LTH, Catbacks, CAI and the P&P, but it felt quicker from a dead stop after the flash. The shifts seemed a bit more crisp as well. It wasn't a huge difference, but one that was noticeable and appreciated.
