What does one have to install with the Magnaflow catbacks to avoid the cel light coming on i know corsa is better but funds a little low right now

I have Full magnaflow Exhaust and Cats, Never had a CEL ?

The CEL is predominantly from the headers . The dynatech long tubes produce fewer and are easier to clear . The KOOKS are trouble as a fix has yet to be easily accomplished ...to my knowledge . Now if you are just doing a cat -back ....without changing your cats to the high flows that typically come with headers........you should be just fine . If you get a CEL at all........the fuse 11 ......30 second pull should clear it . Pulling fuse 11 after a cat back...or any performance mod .....is recommended anyway . Good luck...you are going to love it .

I had magnaflow mufflers installed and the suitcases removed(?). They replaced it with an X looking pipe. Only cost $275 in Moreno Valley, CA. Didn't touch the cats - no codes or problems for 2500 miles.

You will not through codes from adding a cat-back exhaust system on our cars. There is nothing within the odbII monitoring after the 2nd set of o2 sensors and the cat-back system connects about 2ft behind that.
