Shift Point W/Flashpaq

Hello All,

I received my Flashpaq yesturday from a forum member. Everything worked perfect! I know we like to put our foot down as often as possible but, every once in a while I like to just cruise. That's where my problem is... I set the tranny to the sport performance setting and now you have to get the rpm's way up for it to shift and it won't go to overdrive unless you doing 60mph. That can't help gas milage!!! Any help or suggestions would be great. I love the performance but hate the high revs just to shift when cruising.

Thanks in advance,

PD

You could try the custom setting and don't raise the shift points. But keep everything else the way you want it

So in the preset it's all or nothing, correct? Also, can you adjust the idle rpms and turn of the eps with the Flashpaq?

I don't think I can help you out because I have version 1.0 and have always used the custom tune feature. I use a custom tune with raised shift points (6200 rpm) reduced torque management etc. When I drive normally I don't see any change in shift points, only firmer better shifts and a willingness to downshift immediately with much less pedal. Try using the custom tune feature and see what happens.

Yes the presets are just that preset :-).. You can't adjust the idle as far as I know but there is a setting for reduced torque management in the custom settings that reduces the effect of the esp I think

I did mine using custom setting using 91oct, reduced torque mang. paddle auto kick and I left shift points at stock setting, didn't want to mess with it and it might help you out on your problem. I don't have to rev it up high in order for it to shift. which version are you running?

I will reprogram in the morning. I really like the sport setting just not when I am cruising. I will set it to custom and run that way and see.
