Flashpaq tuners

I sent superchips an email yesterday on upgrading my flashpaq from my truck (gets traded) so that it could be used on my new 300C when it arrives. The response basically "buy a new one". In my world of thinking I would have liked to send unit to superchips and them install a new programme. Worst case scenario replace the eeprom that holds the main programme and replace it with one for the 300C. SUCKS SUPERCHIPS!!!

wont it also have to have the plug-in changed too???

that would be alot of work......swap the program, change the cord..........basically change everything but the case you have.........

not to be rude, but that would be like asking Willy Wonka to put a Snickers bar in a 3 Muskateer wrapper..........

Lambeater...I hear where you're coming from, especially if your truck is a 5.7 Hemi. You would think that because the connection into the vehicle is an OBDII there would be a good chance that hardware would be compatible. It would seem more that just possible that Superchips could send you correct program and you could load it yourself from your laptop. I also would guess that even if they could they might not want to. If they made it too universal a unit then they wouldn't sell near as many. Thanks for the information.

Can't you just sell it?
Then look for a used one for the 300C.

I don't think because the engines are hemi that superchip would work on any hemi, it's computer issue I think. it would be nice to reprogram the SC so it can be used on another car instead of buying another one. but like crhemi said , sell it, those sc3825 are like hot potato here. I'm sure there's a willing buyer out there for whatever truck it is.
