Afe Stage 1 ::: Worth It???

AirHammer...
AFE Stage 2...
Volant...
AEM...
DUB...
Mopar...
K&N...
Frankentake...

hhhmmmm... So many intakes to choose from.

I have looked through alot of the air intake tests. I dont know if I have seen them all, being the fact that I am rather new, but from all that I have seen, the AFE 2 is better than the AirHammer BELOW 75 miles per hour. After 75, the AirHammer passes it, according to the tests.

I like the AirHammer, but with the current situation of him and this board and the price tag, I have my doubts. Plus, I won't normally be driving faster than 75....with that being said, that would make the AFE 2 a better bet for me at a much lower price.

Which brings me to this: I have read that everyone is having a problem with the AFE Tube rubbing on the hood. Doesn't sound like something I want to deal with. So rather than waiting for them to fix the tube...

(yes, at last, I am addressing my first question!)

Would the AFE Stage 1 be a smart buy??? The Stock "rubber" tubing looks pretty good. Appears to have a better turn into the engine than some other CAI's I've seen.

So what are you thoughts.??
Or would a drop in filter in the stock box be a better situation?

So why do I want a CAI? Because I heard they can give me an extra 30 RWHP alone!!! haha. I know they help the car breathe better when coupled with an exhaust (Magnaflow soon to come). I am looking for that little extra smidgen of performance while having a nice look under the hood.

Thanks in Advance for all of your thoughts and help.
