there is not much for performance on that engine. when you look around online, most of your goodies are for the 5.7L and 6.1L engines.

Don't waste your time or money.
Save long enough to at least get the 3.5.

I agree I have the 3.5 and last week had a rental with 2.7 world of difference. Neither are rockets but atleast with 3.5L there are a few mods available. ex air intake, chip, exhaust and so on.

if you want performance, find somebody with a v8 to pull you. 2.7 is for gas mileage. intake is about all your gonna get outta it.

I have 2001 Concorde with the 2.7 and that car is probably 400 pounds lighter than a 300 with a 2.7. The motor is just adequate in that car. After getting my 300C (my wife usually drives the Concorde), when I occasionally drive the Concorde, I can't believe how gutless it feels. I could never go back.
Of course, thats how the SRT guys feel about the 5.7!

Welcome to the forum! I have no knowledge on the 2.7L because they don't sell them in Canada, I only know from members' knowledge. I have a 3.5L and am happy with it and it was in my price range. Good luck with your decision.

thanks guys for all of your input...

i went to the dealer looking at the caliber then i saw the 300 and test drove the charger 3.5 which i really really liked but it was in white, not really a big fan of white. anyways, i tried to low ball the dealer and he remained firm on the price so i walked out. now going back to test drive the 300 and the caliber but now he has the 3.5 charger in the color i want. the charger is 1k more than the 300 and 3k more than the caliber. i have no clue which i will buy but want to make the right choice for the long run since i plan on keep the car for awhile. iam a 6-5 and need something i can fit in/be comfortable in.

thanks again
